Polyurethane parts for forestry and sawmill equipment
Common wear challenges in forestry operations
-
Feed roller wear
Logs and lumber wear through rubber rollers quickly. PU rollers last longer and maintain grip for consistent feed rates.
-
Bumper and guide degradation
Repeated contact with logs degrades rubber bumpers and guides. Polyurethane absorbs impact without cracking or deforming.
-
Conveyor component failure
Bark, resin, and debris accelerate wear on conveyor parts. PU components resist these conditions and reduce maintenance frequency.
-
Remote location, long lead times
Sawmills and forestry operations are often remote. Our rapid turnaround reduces the time equipment sits idle waiting for parts.

Questions about polyurethane in forestry
-
What PU hardness is best for feed rollers?
It depends on the application. Softer compounds (70A–85A) provide better grip for log feed. Harder compounds (90A+) are better for high-load debarking applications. We will recommend based on your equipment. -
Can you match existing OEM parts?
Yes. Send us a sample or drawing and we will reverse-engineer the part and produce replacements. -
Do you ship to remote locations?
Yes. We ship across North and South America and internationally. For remote sites, we can coordinate shipping logistics to minimize transit time.
